That's me over there enjoying life on the back patio! I moved to Lubbock in March of 2021 after spending the previous years of my life in my hometown in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Tennessee. It was there I found my love for adventure and living in the moment - I remember many times my siblings and I getting "lost" on our family property and spending hours adventuring through the woods. I discovered my love for preserving moments a little later in my childhood when my dad let me borrow (read - I took it hostage) his old Minolta 35mm film camera. When I realized I could capture those warm, summer evenings playing in the fields with my family and friends, it was love at first snap.
When I'm not photographing your West Texas wedding or elopement, you can find me either at Target or at home, hanging out with my three dogs and my sweet partner. I love to spend my time in the backyard, tending to my garden, and when it's too cold for gardening outdoors, I have a wild collection of demanding houseplants. I love keeping busy, whether that means binge watching New Girl or Supernatural for the thousandth time, restarting my island on Animal Crossing, or being really, really bad at Halo.

You are probably expecting a run of the mill experience where we send a few emails back and forth, exchange money, I shoot your sessions and wedding and deliver images and then BAM! I ride off into the sunset, never to be seen again. Those experiences may be for some people, but with my clients, I just can't allow your wedding experience to be so impersonal. From day one, I love to know who you are, what makes you tick, what makes you cry with happiness and I spent my time with you cultivating that relationship. Why? Because this is really what makes your portraits stand out from the rest. Because we will already know each other and be friends, your photos will be a natural, candid portrayal of your relationship together without the fake poses and smiles.
And after it's all said and done, I'm there for you. Want to vent about how frustrating buying your first home is? I hear you, I hated that process. Want to celebrate your first born with me with maternity photos? I gotchu. While it's easy to think of me as just another vendor you're hiring to make your day amazing, I am so much more than that.
